Job Title: General Laborer ($17-20/hr.)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer for our 1st shift from 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM. The role involves operating chop saws to remove ceramic material, filter balls, and rods from aerospace parts, using measuring equipment to ensure specifications are correct, and cutting metal parts to the specifications of aerospace clients. The position also includes lifting up to 50 lbs when needed, operating computers to input data on finished parts, and reading and interpreting work instructions. Occasionally, you will use mics and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operate chop saws to remove ceramic material, filter balls, and rods from aerospace parts.

• Utilize measuring equipment to ensure specifications are correct.

• Cut metal parts to the specifications of aerospace clients.

• Lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

• Operate computers to insert data on finished parts.

• Read and interpret work instructions.

• Occasionally use micrometers and gauges.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Computer literacy and experience utilizing computers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general labor, production, saw operation, grinding, and wood cutting.

• Mechanically inclined with experience in hand tools, machine operation, and power tools.

• Familiarity with gauges, micrometers, tape measures, and bandsaws.
