Job Title: Plumbing EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be involved in projects that include the design of facility-related plumbing distribution systems, such as sanitary, vent domestic water, storm design, fuel gas systems, as well as specialty gas and fluid system design. The Plumbing Engineer will support project teams in the design and delivery of services related to system design and construction in their discipline, as well as the overall project.

Responsibilities

• Function as a lead on assignments with plumbing design scope and other disciplines.

• Ensure coordinated design on projects.

• Participate in the design development of plumbing work.

• Create and review drawings and technical specifications.

• Contribute to project estimation, planning, and construction feasibility.

• Develop design drawings.

• Provide advisory information during the construction phase.

• Perform site surveys and contribute to engineering studies and assessment reports.

• Attend and contribute to office, client, and project meetings.

• Mentor designers and early-career engineers by providing guidance during project design.

• Provide direction to BIM/CAD for drawing development.

• Monitor project production and schedules to ensure timely completion within budget.

• Ensure the quality of work produced meets high standards.

• Perform engineering studies.

• Conduct technical and coordination check-reviews of project documentation and drawings.

• Follow up on issues with design and production staff to resolve problems and concerns.

• Participate in internal project meetings regularly.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Plumbing Engineering

• Ability and experience designing plumbing systems for commercial and industrial construction projects

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit

Work Environment

This position is headquartered in Chadds Ford. The work environment includes modern office facilities with a focus on collaborative project design and delivery. The company has a diverse team with 220 national employees and some international presence in India. The team is expanding through an acquisition of a 100-person company. The main clients are in the aviation industry. Dress code and attire are professional, suitable for client interactions and office meetings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00
