Description We are looking to add a Sr. Accountant to our team, based in Ceres, California. In this role, you will be in charge of various accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations. You will also be involved in financial management, regulatory filings, and financial statement development.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, guide, and assess accounts payable, as well as vehicle, parts, service, and warranty accounts receivable.

• Manage the financial close process and procedures, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

• Oversee the company’s accounts payable disbursement platform and purchase card portfolio.

• Verify that sufficient controls are in place within the purchasing, accounts payable, and invoicing systems.

• Ensure physical verification of parts inventory managed in the DMS each year in line with corporate policies.

• Collaborate with department managers and corporate benefits manager to track, allocate, and forecast the company’s fixed overhead and employee benefit expenses.

• Ensure timely submission of regulatory filings, federal and state tax/fee filings, and associated payments.

• Develop accurate financial statements for each financial period and provide management with an executive summary of financial results, including an analysis of historical trends.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role

• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills.
