Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the construction industry, located in Ceres, California. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing customer credit records and applications, as well as addressing customer inquiries. This role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.

Responsibilities:

• Diligently and professionally manage collections of past due accounts.

• Regularly process numerous work orders on vendor systems.

• Accurately follow up on payment plans in a timely manner.

• Assist customers with the creation of new accounts as necessary.

• Efficiently operate on QuickBooks desktop software.

• Utilize Excel for a variety of tasks and procedures.

• Process an average of 100 payments per week.

• Maintain and process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts. Requirements

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role

• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office (specifically Excel)

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to perform mathematical computations accurately and quickly

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities

• High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.
