Job Description:

Parsons is currently seeking an Air Force Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a fast paced, growing, and dynamic program.

The DMO SME will apply their operational knowledge of Air Force doctrine, aircraft capabilities and tactics to support the planning and execution of DMO training exercises, the development of simulation interoperability standards, and the management of standards certifications. The DMO SME will collaborate with simulation providers and operators and our customers to support the standards and certifications that enable daily DMO training with cross-domain solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize subject matter expertise to support federation management activities and standards development

• Provide leadership and expertise with testing, certification, and acceptance efforts

• Analyze live, virtual and constructive considerations for innovative standards solutions

• Provide expertise to help shape tactical training for participants

• Provide constructive and threat generation expertise for scenario development and analysis of standards alternatives and solutions

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree required and at least 15 years of related experience; 13 years with Masters

• Must have current DoD Secret security clearance (or higher); an interim Secret is required to start

• Previous or current USAF experience

• Familiarity with USAF Distributed Mission Operations

• Must have proven leadership skills

• Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and oral

Salary Range:

$67.64 - $121.78
