Local manufacturer of critical surface preparation materials is hiring for machine operators for their manufacturing team in Central Islip. Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for production runs by setting up tools, adjusting settings, and ensuring all necessary materials are in place.

• Monitor and control the operation of machinery during production.

• This may involve starting, stopping, and adjusting the machine as needed to meet production requirements.

• Inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.

• Make adjustments to the machine settings if necessary to maintain product quality.

• Load raw materials into the machine and unload finished products.

• Ensure a steady supply of materials throughout the production process.

The essential functions of this role include:
