Job Description

The Associate Manager of Asset Reporting & Analytics will manage a team that is responsible for the support functions of reporting, system enhancements and analysis to ensure effective and efficient usage and control of all assets under the oversight of Asset Management which adhering to all Olympus compliance protocols, policies and procedures to support various business units of Olympus. They will lead and manages departmental and cross functional projects and testing initiatives to ultimately support the accuracy, quality and operational improvement capture by all inter-Asset Management departments. Lastly, the incumbent and team will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of adequate data measurement and monitoring structures that meet the needs of senior management.

Job Duties

  • Provides leadership to plan, oversee, and support strategic/operational projects and embrace a continuous improvement culture and deliver general support Asset Management activities.

  • Support positive relationships with upstream and downstream between Asset Management and Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales. Working closely with systematic, operational, finance, compliance, and legal teams.

  • Represents, manages, and maintains all Asset Management based IT initiatives including any CRM based asset tracking systems. This includes, but is not limited to, ongoing development and changes in the companies SAP platform SalesForce.com platform and other systems as needed.

  • Supports and maintains communication between the Asset Management team and the Sales Compliance and Legal teams to ensure that all future development of IT resources and or business are met, while maintaining compliance to all government rules and regulations.

  • Efficiently manage a balanced delegate projects within the teams to finalize projects and meet deadlines.

  • Communication monthly project progress/status updates to Asset Management leadership.

  • Manages and continues to lead the Asset Management Analytics department in researching recommending and implementing alternative solutions or operational methods that reduce inventory requirements. Continued analysis of new methods to insure their effectiveness in a dynamic ever-changing environment and systematic support.

  • Support the Asset Management departments in any and all initiatives to provide accountability visibility and efficient use to any and all orders and assets in the company asset pool.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related/comparable fields (Project Management, Management, Data Analytics) preferred, or 4 years relevant work experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years supervising a team.

Preferred:

  • SAP Experience, SalesForce experience.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Strong computer skills used in business reporting is required.

  • Ability to apply Excel at an advanced level (macros linking of files) to analysis required.

  • Ability to make effective oral and written presentations to senior levels of management including using PowerPoint.

  • Understands and follows company policies; encourages others to follow work rules; calls attention to actions that may violate policies and procedures.

  • Bases decisions on a systematic review of relevant facts and information; avoids making assumptions or rushing to judgment; provides clear rationale for decisions.

  • Accurately estimates resources and time required to complete projects; identifies and secures resources needed to complete tasks and initiatives; makes efficient use of resources.

  • The ability to influence and develop interdependent partnering which results in meeting departmental goals and objectives is required.

  • The ability to understand and interpret business needs into usable IT development plans and follow through to implementation.
