As a Registered Nurse Telephone Triage you will assume responsibility and accountability for:

• Registered nurse who works as telephone triage RN in the Call Center. Answers calls from numerous clients ranging from the general community to physician practice clients, managed care members, and Home Care patients.

• Performs health assessments using computerized guidelines. Provides general health information using approved references. May provide physician referrals and community service referrals as needed. Due to many client contracts, RN must be able to function in a multi-task environment.

Schedule (time, day requirements, etc.): Variable 8 hr and 12 hr looking for someone willing to work weekends

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Education Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs

Experience Requirements

• 3 years recent hospital, home health or clinic experience.

• Competent in computer and technical applications

• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty

Licenses/Certification Requirements

• RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

• BLS from the American Heart Association required

Physical Requirements

• Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
