Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals in Centennial, CO is now hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician IV for a local manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of facility and sterilization equipment, including complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems. Key duties include diagnosing and repairing sterilizers and laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate logs for FDA GMP compliance, and ensuring the facility's overall condition. Preferred skills include LabView programming, experience with pressurized systems, pipe fitting, and troubleshooting electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain sterilizers, laboratory equipment, and facility systems, ensuring equipment operates efficiently. Keep accurate maintenance records for FDA compliance. Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure systems like the boiler operate effectively. Collaborate with team members and participate in training and certification programs.
Required Skills:
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills. 3-4 years of related experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems. Familiar with FDS, ISO standards, and FDA regulations. Ability to interpret schematics, system diagrams, and technical manuals.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in both standing and sitting positions for extended periods, with occasional lifting up to 75 lbs. Willingness to travel up to 10% for training. Must comply with safety protocols and wear protective equipment when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with steam and printing equipment. Knowledge of troubleshooting, PLC programming, and pipe fitting.
