As a Work Transfer Project Initiator, you’ll manage and execute Work Transfer Gates 1 (Opportunity Identification) and 2 (Planning) across various projects. In this dynamic role, you'll lead the identification and planning of work transfers, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure timely project execution. You will regularly interface with Senior Leadership, presenting business progress and maintaining high visibility.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure use and compliance to MIS-PRO-0003 (Mission Systems Work Transfer Procedure)

  • Effectively communicate project status to all levels of the organization through various

  • mediums

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with all internal customers, stakeholders, and project

  • team members

  • Establish project priorities that will mitigate all internal and external customer production

  • impacts, as well as internal financial risks

  • Lead resolution of project setbacks including identifying alternate solutions, internal Collins

  • escalation, interfacing with supplier leadership, etc. to ensure timely execution of projects

  • Serve as the key point of contact for the assigned projects when interfacing with Procurement, Quality, Cost and Procurement Execution teams, Business Unit Cost, Engineering and Quality teams, Site Operations, Planning and Delivery Assurance teams, Collins Regional Office teams, and Suppliers

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • ERP experience (SAP Preferred)

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations/Manufacturing

  • PMP certification

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite with knowledge of advanced features of Microsoft Excel, i.e., v-lookup, macros, pivot tables, data mining

  • Technical aptitude, i.e., experience with manufacturing, reading, and following blueprints and/or technical specifications

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
