Job Description Summary

Responsible for the direction and leadership of a diverse, multi-location Workforce Management team supporting Operations. Bridge the gap between tactical and strategic management to provide daily operational oversight and a strategic forward-thinking approach to workforce management.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist the director in formulating and executing a workforce management strategy in alignment with operational and broader business objectives.

  • Allocate staff resources to meet varying operational demands and make decisions on budget adjustments to stay within financial targets.

  • Take a proactive role in recommending and leading strategic initiatives with operations leaders, reporting and analytics teams, and other enterprise support functions.

  • Conduct analysis on business events and historical patterns in work volumes and staff levels trends to produce volume and staffing forecasts and make decisions on staffing levels and training needs.

  • Coach and mentor staff and operational management on workforce tools, methods, and best practices. Provide staff with development opportunities.

  • Facilitate planning processes on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis; provide insight and recommendations on load balancing and augmentation strategies to meet service objectives and manage costs.

  • Develop and lead initiatives leveraging technology and conduct in-depth analysis to deliver forecasting, planning, intraday management, and performance capabilities data for operations leadership.

  • Collaborate with frontline managers on intraday and change management processes; recommend actionable adjustments to meet service objectives.

  • Lead review sessions with management to evaluate work volumes, service levels, production results, and drivers; develop and present recommendations for improvement action plans.

  • Initiate performance improvement projects based on workforce metrics and operational needs.

  • Review and approve the release of workforce management updates and communication to various levels within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience

  • Eight years of progressive experience in workforce management, including supervisory/management roles

  • Leadership, decision making, and problem solving skills

  • Ability to communicate and present information to all levels of the organization

  • Analytical skills to collect/organize data and apply tangible solutions to business concepts

  • Ability to manage and prioritize initiatives

  • Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint, with advanced skills in MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI

Working Conditions

  • Office or hybrid office/remote environment

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.*

The salary for this position generally ranges between $95,000 - $126,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 15% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
