This position is for an Industrial Engineer who will join the Manufacturing support team at the Collins Aerospace Cedar Rapids facility. Primary responsibility will be to support the lean manufacture of avionics electronics equipment. What You Will Do:

• Provide industrial engineering support to production build and testing of avionics electronics equipment.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects using the CORE methodology

• Identify drivers of cost and propose alternative solutions for cost reductions.

• Perform cost analysis and trade-offs.

• Estimate costs and participate in preparation of proposals and presentations. · Perform moderate to advanced engineering economics principles and techniques and analyze and understand manufacturing cost impacts.

• Ability to diagnose problems and recommend alternative solutions.

• Knowledge of principles and techniques commonly used in electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

• Experience in manufacturing engineer and/or factory transition

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
