What YOU will do:

  • You will design, develop, and document advanced digital and analog hardware for avionic applications.

  • You will play a critical role in the entire hardware development lifecycle, from initial concept through integration, verification, and into production.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the stringent requirements of the aerospace industry.

  • You will utilize your expertise in PCB design and digital electronics to create solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible in avionic technology.

  • You will interact directly with customers to refine products and ensure our hardware meets their evolving needs.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field. In the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with interfaces such as ARINC 429, Ethernet, I2C, USB, DDR1/2/3.

  • Experience with DO-160 and DO-254 standards, signal integrity, and timing analysis.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems using engineering lab equipment.

  • Familiarity with Design to Cost (DTC+), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Test (DFT).

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
