Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Cedar Falls, Iowa area who can get started at the start of the year! The selected candidate will work within the accounting team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist to resolve credit and collection issues with customers and sales staff, maintain updated credit files, manage cash receipts from customers, and handle accounts receivable credit and debit memos.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the resolution of outstanding invoices

• Accurately applying cash collections to customer accounts

• Managing a large volume of deposits and applying them to the correct invoice

• Processing credit memos to customers

• Evaluating the credit worthiness of customers and setting or approving credit limits and selling terms

• Maintaining an updated file of sales tax exemption certificates received from customers

• Adding new customers, vendors and capital projects to the accounting system

Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Expert in performing Billing Functions

• Ability to handle Cash Activity efficiently

• Skilled in Cash Applications

• Experience with Credit Application processing

• Proven track record in approving Credit Approvals

• Capable of managing and processing Customer Invoices

• Excellent in Customer communication and relationship management

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in handling Credit Memos

• Familiarity with processing Remittances
