ManpowerGroup Maintenance Mechanic in Cedar City, Utah
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Cedar City, Utah
Pay Range: $26-$32/hr with $1 shift differential for night shift
What's the Job?
Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including use of all PPE and safety equipment
Install plate changeovers and start-up machines for production needs when required
Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery
Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines
Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of problems
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED
3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of training and experience
Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams, etc.
Ability to use precision measuring devices including amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges
Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics
