Your Role

To provide procurement and analytical expertise and ensure timely and accurate data reports for procurement and allocation management to senior members. To assist and ensure ticket allocation to maintain the timely and quality service to the customers or requestors. To act as a shipping carriers liaison for transshipment escalations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare booking and shipment reports daily to Australia Team in a timely manner to inform the AU team of current volume being moved.

  • Extract QT Utilization Report from Business Objects to send out to Trade and Pricing Team in order to monitor the number of quotation created and if within capacity.

  • Develop and run reports in Business Objects that includes but not limited to Port Omission Report and Blank Sailing Reports based on the carrier notices received and include analysis that can contribute to the management’s decision making and allocation directions.

  • Develop ad-hoc reports that is needed by the Senior Management for their analysis on shipment issues or status

  • Coordinate with other teams (Sales, Operations, Customer Service) for efficient resolution of tickets/QT uploads needed for Customer booking and/or invoicing to ensure that it’s available on time and error-free.

  • Manage and supervise Zendesk ticket allocation within the team on a timely manner for fast resolution and to ensure that service level can meet the SLA (Service Level Agreement).

  • Identify and provide initial analysis on tickets aging 7 days and above to push the team’s ticket prioritization management.

  • Communicate with Shipping Carrier Senior POC for shipments with Trans Shipments longer than 15 days and escalate to Regional Shipping Carrier POC to avoid long shipment delays and Customer dissatisfaction.

  • Identify Shipping Carriers with allocation exceeding forecast volume and coordinate with Management to avoid potential booking cancellations or Carrier disputes.

  • Assist managing VIP customers/suppliers tender analysis to drive accurate Carrier allocation and Costing analysis

  • Ensure important trade and pricing information is posted in Wiki for Australia Management/ Staffs' consumption.

  • Assist in project related activities and identify problems/solutions among the project team in order to drive its success

  • Train and provide minimal supervision to new colleagues to be able to meet the team’s performance

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree (Logistics/Transportation, Computer Science/Information Technology, Business studies/management, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or Economics)

  • Must know IT coding languages

  • MS Outlook: Intermediate, Proficient in Microsoft (PowerPoint, Word)

  • MS Excel: Intermediate to Expert (This is a must)

  • Knowledge on Reporting and Project Management

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to work with demanding deadlines, establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks, must be organized

  • Basic knowledge of Incoterms/Quotes/Pricing and Contracts

  • Ability to work 07:00-16:00 (local time) , work on Philippine Holidays (Mandatory)

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

  • Strong Communication Skills
