Douglas County Government Fairgrounds Maintenance Technician in Castle Rock, Colorado
OVERVIEW: Maintain Fairgrounds facilities for year-round usage. Supervise the activities of temporary workers, contracted help and volunteers. Manage Fairgrounds events (to include annual County Fair), supervising events to ensure satisfaction of customer and protection of county assets. Perform preventive, scheduled, and custodial maintenance of grounds and facilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or GED is required. Two years of building maintenance education or experience. Event setup and customer service. Technical training in building mechanical systems is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database.
Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License upon hire, with complying insurance. Review of motor vehicle record is required at time of hire and periodically throughout employment.
