Xylem Application Engineer in Castle Hill, Australia

The Application Engineer role based in Castle Hill is responsible for maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure the satisfaction and productivity goals are developed and achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Evoqua and Xylem products to provide application engineering support, including supporting the proposals process.

  • Work with local and international product managers, factories, and engineering departments to provide local support on identified product lines.

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify product gaps, and generate new ideas to improve service to our customers and provide feedback on such ideas to relevant segment leaders.

  • Planning and execution of projects to ensure timely completion, within budget cost and to specifications.

  • Manage products in SAP, through management of material master, purchasing data, and bills of materials to facilitate accurate and timely purchase and supply of materials.

  • Any other work-related duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical/Process preferred)

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position

  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP System

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, with the ability to successfully communicate with customers.

  • Problem-solving capabilities in a competitive and fast-moving environment
