ManpowerGroup Warehouse Associate in Casper, Wyoming

Warehouse Associate

Location: Casper, WY

Pay Rate: $15.00

Position Overview: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing, and shipping activities. Additional duties include counter sales, housekeeping, and quality assurance tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle all incoming shipments.

  • Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into the computer system.

  • Conduct quality assurance inspections when necessary.

  • Place received materials into proper warehouse storage locations, segregating backorders as needed. Relocate and consolidate materials, notifying management of new bin/table locations.

  • Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment, including assembling and holding orders.

  • Prepare bills of lading and express receipts.

  • Assist in loading trucks.

  • Prepare local delivery records and complete applicable blocks on the pick ticket.

  • Maintain appropriate forms pending the return of materials.

  • Inspect the condition of returned materials before completing return authorization forms.

  • Return stock to the correct location pending credit memo, sale, or return to the supplier.

  • Clean the warehouse and trucking/parking areas.

  • Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as needed.

  • Administer preventative maintenance programs for delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.

  • Record and process customer complaints regarding product or service dissatisfaction, responding with corrective actions or directing to the appropriate supervisor/manager.

  • Maintain counter stock as needed.

  • Assist with over-the-counter sales as required.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills/Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills

Working Environment:

  • Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels. The area is typically well-ventilated and well-lit. Employees may be exposed to various weather conditions and may need to wear protective clothing. Operation of heavy equipment is required, and strict safety regulations must be followed.

Physical Requirements:

  • The work is physically demanding, requiring the lifting of heavy packages up to 50 pounds. Employees must use hand tools.
