Oracle Tech Lead (Database team) in CASABLANCA, Morocco

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident in their abilities, fast-paced, and able to design and build software with a great focus on quality. We're looking for someone who can own the development of a work stream, design and write technical user stories and provide detailed code reviews. In addition, the candidate should be comfortable in leading teams of junior developers while providing technical guidance and coaching.

You should feel at home with full-cycle design and standards-based development, and have a solid knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Java and Cloud developement.

Minimum qualifications include the following:

  • Minimum of 7 years of system Backend development experience is required

  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with most of the following :

  • Strong Java and/or Javascript, certifications highly desirable

  • PL/SQL, SQL, SQLCL

  • Oracle Database and Data Modeling

  • OCI if not then experience in AWS, GCP or Azure

  • CI/CD and automation pipelines setup

  • Database deployment automation using Liquibase

  • Experience in Front end development is a plus but not mandatory

Other requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals across the organization.

  • Experiene in successfully leading Agile projects with strong backlog refinment and estimation skills.

  • Ability to mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
