Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Maintenance (Controls/ Electrical Technician) to join our team. As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic, and automated systems as well as the mechanical systems and conveyors used in our manufacturing processes. This is a contract to hire on-site role.

Skills and Requirements

· Associate degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field

 · 4-5 years of electrical experience

 · Proven experience as a Controls Technician or similar role

 · Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and sensors

 · Experience with industrial communication protocols, such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP

 · Familiarity with electrical and safety codes and regulations

 · Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

 · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (error proofing)

 · Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
