PulteGroup Exterior Color Specialist in Cary, North Carolina
Job Summary:
The Exterior Color Specialist is responsible for creating thoughtfully curated, on trend color packages to improve Pulte’s street scapes nationally, providing compelling value to customers.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Execute the creation of color selections.
Review architectural drawings to understand parameters of specific projects.
Identify appropriate masonry and roof products per elevation.
Create color blocking elevations to provide divisions with paint guidelines.
Model color palettes utilizing 2-D programs.
Input exterior color scheme information into Pulte Home Designer.
Oversee revisions and modifications as needed.
Conduct annual reviews for each division.
Work directly with divisions to obtain project information and requests.
Provide Sales Teams with samples and display information that illustrate the color selections and materials available to buyers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent Color related vocational background
Minimum 3-5 Years experience with exterior color creation and/or architectural design
Experience in project management, architecture, drafting, color theory, and design
Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications

Required Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of color theory
Experienced in AutoCAD
Photoshop experience
Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite
Highly organized
Ability to visualize
Score of 95% or higher on Farnsworth – Munsell 100 Hue color vision test
Ability to analyze floor plans and elevations
