Job Title: Stock Handler

Job Description

Candidates are responsible for ordering and delivering component parts to work stations, filling machine hoppers, and moving cartons of assembled goods to the Warehouse. Must be able to lift, move, and push a minimum of 50 lbs and reach above shoulder continuously throughout the shift (approximately every 15 minutes). Will be utilizing manual and electric pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Order and deliver component parts to work stations.

• Fill machine hoppers.

• Move cartons of assembled goods to the Warehouse.

• Utilize manual and electric pallet jacks.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience.

• Tenure of 2+ years at the same company.

• Basic PC and math skills for orders and computer entry.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality and production issues.

• Ability to lift, move, and push a minimum of 50 lbs and reach above shoulder continuously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a GMP environment is a plus.

• Any plastics experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled environment. Very loud in areas near machinery (ear plugs provided). No jewelry allowed. Required to wear hair/beard net. New employees will wear blue hats. Steel toe shoes are required for this position (company reimbursement eligible after hire if full-time; save receipt). Expect to work 8-16 hours of overtime per week. Shifts: 1st Shift: 8:20 am - 4:30 pm; 2nd Shift: 4:20 pm - 12:30 am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cary, Illinois.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50
