Position Summary:

As a People Partner, you report into the HR Executive Director. You are a key support within the Retail HR team, assisting the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in the implementation and execution of all the tactical aspects of the HR function. This role will allow you to serve as the day-to-day contact for colleagues, addressing high volume tactical service issues. You support escalated general inquires as they arise and aide the HRBP’s in activities in service of colleagues across the field, assist with the pre-established human resources strategies to support the overall business plan and direction of the organization. Your success will be determined by your proactive, organizational skills managing multiple tasks in a dynamic and transformative environment. The close partnership you will make with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) communities for quick resolution will also contribute to your success.

You will accomplish this by:

  • Collaborating with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and align Human Resources strategies and initiatives accordingly.

  • Participating in strategic planning discussions, contributes to key HR insights, and develops plans to address current and future talent needs.

  • Assisting in developing and implementing talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

  • Supporting organizational development efforts by assessing organizational effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity.

  • Providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employment laws, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of employees.

  • Collaborating with Human Resources specialists and other stakeholders to roll out programs such as performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement surveys, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and learning and development programs.

  • Ensuring compliance with Human Resources policies, procedures, and employment laws within their business units.

  • Assisting in workforce planning activities by analyzing data and trends related to workforce demographics, skills gaps, turnover, and succession planning.

  • Providing guidance and support to business leaders and managers on various HR matters by providing coaching and development opportunities, facilitating talent reviews, and assisting in addressing performance issues or employee development needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in a business environment

  • 1 or more years of experience in Human Resource

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (including plane travel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resource

  • Proven collaboration skills with members of the HR centers of excellences and/or business partners

  • Organized, efficient and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring outcomes and deadlines

  • Experience in Workday

  • Able to gather data, analyze issues, identify root causes, and address opportunities related to a diverse and dynamic slate of business challenges

  • Strong in Microsoft office product such as: excel, PowerPoint, teams, word, and publisher

  • PHR certification

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $132,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
