In the role of VP, Supply Chain, you'll play a pivotal part on our team. The VP, Supply Chain is expected to grow and develop core capabilities of the Company's business goals through leadership and management of all supply chain activities, including defining the overall purchasing commodity strategy, supplier consolidation and development efforts, and developing and driving supplier performance throughout the respective division

This position contributes to our vision by:

• Own, develop, and drive a purchasing and overall supply chain strategy that maximizes value to Safran by leading the supply chain team's efforts to deliver parts and services that efficiently support ongoing production requirements and aftermarket programs.

• Collaborate with senior leadership within Cabin to ensure Company-wide initiatives and business objectives are met.

• Provide leadership for employee performance through effective communications, coaching, and developmental goals.

• Ensure all objectives for departmental personnel are established and provide development and mentorship to team members in commodity management and supplier development.

• Contribute to, and provide support of, proposal development, strategic planning, and budgeting.

• Provide leadership to cross-functional project teams including functional areas within Safran Cabin as well as external customer and vendor team members.

The expected salary range for this position is between $168,640 - $265,010 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline required

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in progressive supply chain management experience in aerospace, automotive or mechanical manufacturing environment with the ability to lead and influence others.

• Minimum 10 years of people management experience within a closely related business function.

• Significant prior experience driving SIOP or S&OP across multiple sites and business units.

• Proven Change Management experience.

• Very strong negotiation skills and capability to adapt.

• Solid understanding of ERP systems and related operating principles.

• Proven management skills including leadership of high-performing team.

• Strong coaching, mentoring, and overall employee development skills.

Computer Skills:

• ERP Systems

• Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)

• Supply chain experience within a complex multinational manufacturing organization

• Master's degree in related discipline

• CPIM and/or APIC certification

• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM methodology
