Maintenance Technician
Reporting to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, the maintenance technician maintains plant machinery and equipment.

Job Summary
Under general supervision, keeps plant machinery and equipment in good repair.
Maintains, analyzes and corrects problems of standard machinery, as required.
Must perform preventative maintenance using prepared check-off list on all major equipment (i.e. Stretch presses, hot presses, standard and NC machine tools), and some special machinery.
Under general supervision, examines machines for defects in operation, replaces defective parts and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
Must be able to diagnose and correct obvious problems with minimum supervision, and test equipment after repaired.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Ability to read basic blueprints and interpret specifications.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems desired.
Ability to lift, push, pull or move up to thirty (30) pounds.
Required Experience and Education
H.S. Diploma or GED
Four (4) years minimum working experience on general machine tool repair and maintenance.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of co-workers and management
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Ability to read and write in English at a 12th grade level
Ability to perform basic math functions at a 12th grade level
Good attendance and a positive attitude with a team player approach
This is a generic job posting for a Maintenance Technician. Depending on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I) level, intermediate (II) level or expert (III) level job and pay scale.
Base Compensation: USD 25.00 - 35.00 Paid Hourly
