We're looking for a well-rounded, experienced Staff Accountant to join a growing construction company in Carrollton, Texas. In this role you'll be responsible for partnering with Project Managers for cost analysis, completing monthly pay applications and assisting with month end duties. Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Pay Applications

• Prepare Project Reports for Project Managers

• Review CO Logs

• Prepare/Execute/Revise Work Orders

• Sub Contract Administration/3 Way Contracts

• Bonds including approving bond invoices

• Updating Job List

• Review and validate weekly A/P check runs

• Vendor reconciliations

• Daily Batch Reports

• Job Cost Reporting

• Monthly close process

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• General Accounting Support

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Skills

• Journal Entries (3 years of experience is required)

• Excel Pivot Tables (3 years of experience is required)

• AIA Billing (3 years of experience is required)

• Reconciliation (3 years of experience is required)

• cost analysis (3 years of experience is required)
