Job Title: Linux Applications Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Linux Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining code in C that interfaces with hardware drivers and other software APIs. You will need to understand program requirements and create well-documented code based on high-level design specifications. This role involves reproducing, isolating, and fixing bugs, as well as integrating, developing, debugging, and measuring Linux hardware drivers.

Responsibilities

• Write code in C that works with hardware drivers and other software APIs.

• Understand program requirements and create elegant, well-documented code based on high-level design specifications.

• Reproduce and isolate bugs and implement fixes.

• Integrate, develop, debug, and measure Linux hardware drivers.

• Design solutions by integrating new or existing software.

Top Skills required:

• Strong experience in Linux development working with both C/C+

• • Need to be able to write low level device drivers to enable hardware

• Have UI/UX development experience

• Qt

• Self-starter

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.

• Familiarity with hardware and software integration.

Work Environment This is an on-site role located in Carrollton. The work environment is collaborative and fast-paced, offering opportunities for growth and development. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $57.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
