    ROLE PURPOSE

    The Human Resources Business Partner, under direction from the Human Resources Manager, North America, serves as a partner to key North America strategic business units to achieve organizational goals and objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, directing and coordinating human resources activities, such as staffing, organizational design, employee relations, employee services, leadership development, compensation and HR administration by performing these duties personally or by working through HR partners.

  • Manages employee relations matters such as employee complaints, harassment allegation, and other workplace issues across the US

  • Develops and executes performance management, engagement and recognition programs and strategies

  • Proactively guides and coach’s business leaders in resolving discipline issues and ensures compliance with applicable statues. Reviews and coaches Managers in the Performance Improvement Planning and the Corrective Action Process to improve overall performance and behaviors with business partners

  • Leads talent acquisition strategy and scorecard metrics across functions. Analyze talent data offering recommendations to improve hiring, recruiting and the culture

  • Analyzes talent data and makes recommendations to improve performance metrics, recruit metrics and company culture

  • Delivers Management and Employee Training with business clients

  • Manages recruiting and retention efforts for non-exempt and exempt positions and understands the administrative piece of recruiting, including process and tracking quality of hires and time to fill metrics

  • Recruiting expertise and experience working with hiring managers to source and fill permanent and temporary positions across multiple departments. Proven track record of screening candidates for culture and qualifications

  • Assumes other HR responsibilities as assigned

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION:

    Education Level:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of generalist and Employee Relations Human Resources experience

  • Strong knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources

  • Minimum of 4 years of Recruiting experience hiring temp and perm positions from a variety of sources including applicant tracking, social media, job boards, recruiting agencies and networking events

  • Advanced employment law and legal aspects knowledge and expertise

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with Affirmative Action procedures a plus

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/SHRM-CP certification a plus

  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment a plus
