Job Title: Embedded Software DeveloperJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our team and support HVAC projects, including thermostats, chillers, condensers, and more. You will be involved in ongoing projects as well as new ones in the pipeline, focusing on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems for businesses such as Walmart and Home Depot.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement embedded software for HVAC projects.
Work on controls and control algorithms for various HVAC systems.
Integrate Modbus protocol for communication between control boards and compressors.
Adapt software to run on new control boards.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure project success.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 8 years of experience in embedded software development.
Proficiency in programming in C.
Experience with Modbus or similar communication protocols.
Strong hardware experience, working close to the hardware.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with firmware development.
Knowledge of embedded programming.
Work Environment
This position is based on-site in Carrollton, TX, working 5 days per week as a contractor. Upon full integration, the schedule will switch to 4 days a week. You will be part of a dedicated development team working on cutting-edge HVAC technology.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
