CITY OF CARRIZO SPRINGS Mechanic in CARRIZO SPRINGS, Texas
Business hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
**[Essential Duties [The Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of City vehicles and machinery. Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on vehicles and machines. Oils and lubricates moving parts on vehicles and machines to ensure effective performance. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts. Orders and installs replacement parts on vehicles and machines. Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on vehicles and machines. Must be able to work well independently and with others. Requires the ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry at least 80 pounds and be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
[Performs other duties as assigned or required.
**[Minimum Qualifications [Vocational or college with related coursework or equivalent experience required. Must have a valid Texas Driver's license.
