Job Title: Set Up Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Set Up Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely setting up and taking down fences, barricades, and related products at customer sites. You will also complete necessary operational paperwork, maintain workspaces and company vehicles, and professionally represent our company with customers and on-site partners.
Responsibilities
Safely set up and take down fences, barricades, and related products at customer sites.
Complete operational paperwork such as reports, truck inventory logs, and site checklists.
Work safely and productively, always focusing on site safety.
Assist in navigating to sites efficiently.
Keep workspaces and company vehicles clean and free of garbage and hazards.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with customers, colleagues, and on-site partners.
Drive a non-CDL, heavy commercial vehicle for product delivery.
Essential Skills
Ability to take direction and deliver on guidance for each project.
Strong motivation to complete tasks efficiently, even with a heavy workload and tight deadlines.
Capability to accurately and thoroughly complete paperwork.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment.
General knowledge of tools (drills, power washers, post drivers, banding equipment) and comfort with power tools.
Capacity to handle and lift heavy fence panels (approx. 50-80 lbs).
Must have dependable transportation to job sites.
Experience with forklift operation and one-ton trucks is preferred but not mandatory.
Comfort using technology for updates and system notes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic welding experience or willingness to learn (training available).
Some knowledge of carpentry; experience in electrical, plumbing, and welding is a plus.
A current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Compliance with safety, transportation, and environmental policies.
Attendance in safety meetings and participation in training and observations.

Work Environment
This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions with a varied morning start time between 5 and 8am. You will travel up to 50 miles with the team to job sites. The role requires physical stamina as you will handle and lift heavy fence panels. You will start your day at the job site and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and vehicle. The dress code is professional and appropriate for working outdoors.
