Robert Half HR Coordinator in Carmel, California

Description

We are in search of a diligent and experienced Office Manager to join our team in Carmel, California. This is a FULLY ONSITE position. This role involves managing office operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a positive and productive workplace environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, from employee onboarding and offboarding to administrative and clerical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with various HR duties such as onboarding new employees and setting them up in various systems

• Create personnel files and assign equipment or uniforms

• Oversee the office administrative and clerical operations

• Support needs related to company required permits, pharmaceutical compliance, and CPR certifications

• Run monthly reports as needed

• Address staff needs and escalated customer concerns

• Support Employee certifications, handbook, and compliance training needs

• Order office supplies

• Verification of employment requests and I-9s

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, including keeping up with invoicing and calling accounts receivable

• Manage employee benefits administration

• Provide hands-on management and be open to supporting employees directly, including setting up training sessions.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in an office management or similar role

• Proficiency in using Apple iPhone for business communication and scheduling

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary

• Experience in coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies

• Proven experience in handling administrative responsibilities such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High School diploma; additional qualification in Office Administration is a plus
