Description

We are recruiting for a Staff Accountant role based in Carlsdadt, New Jersey. This role involves a range of accounting tasks, with a particular focus on managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring the accuracy of the financial records.

Responsibilities:

Sales Reporting and Tax Calculation: Prepare detailed sales reports and accurately calculate sales tax.

Accounts Receivable Management: Send open statements, track accounts receivable status, and ensure timely payments.

Payment Processing: Record all incoming payments and manage outgoing payments efficiently.

Invoice Management: Check, issue, and send invoices, and monitor their receipt status.

Consignment and Purchase Reporting: Record consignment sales, cashier out reports, and purchase reports meticulously.

Financial Reconciliation and Reporting: Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare comprehensive profit and loss statements.

Deposit and Receivables Monitoring: Regularly check deposit statuses and monitor accounts receivable.

Accounts Payable Review: Review payment resolutions and accurately record accounts payable invoices.

Check Issuance: Issue checks in accordance with the company's financial procedures.

General Ledger Accuracy: Ensure journal entries are correctly recorded in the General Ledger.

Data Entry and Operations: Handle all data entries related to operations with precision and attention to detail.

Skills Required:

Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Month End Close, QuickBooks, SAP, Balance Sheet Reconciliation

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

• Proficiency in QuickBooks & SAP software is a plus.

• Position requires a minimum of one year of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.

• Candidates who can speak and/or understand Korean preferred, open to candidates who are willing to learn
