[The role of the Crisis and Dispatch Receptionist is centered around exceptional customer service. This position is vital in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals in crisis, both in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include guiding clients through the check-in process, directing them to the appropriate services, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day tasks such as insurance verification and processing client payments. Effective communication with the back office to authorize services is essential. The role may evolve based on the individual's experience, job performance, and the development of positive relationships with clients and staff.

- Provide outstanding service to all visitors within the reception area, fulfilling all required expectations and responsibilities. This encompasses a range of tasks, including customer service, inter-office communication, appointment confirmation for clinical and medical services, data entry, and reviewing the daily schedule.
- Schedule clients according to the correct payer source, ensuring timely completion of insurance verification and confirmation of patient payments prior to service delivery or client departure.
- Possess a strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines, insurance verification processes, data entry for new clients, and proficiency in EMR-Bear or similar programs.
- Efficiently direct clients to the appropriate services, offer support to individuals in crisis and assist the Client Service Team Leader and other Lifehouse staff as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and reception area, managing the atmosphere of the waiting room to ensure a comfortable and reassuring space for visitors, clients, or patients awaiting services.

- Experience with multi-line phone systems
- Schedule:(42 hours per week)
- Saturday, Sunday and Monday, (5:00AM-5:00PM) - 12-hour shifts
- Tuesday (5:00AM-11:00AM) - 6 hour shift
