A prestigious company that we are partnering up with in Carlsbad, CA is on the hunt for an ambitious Staff Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will assist the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. This is a fantastic chance to deepen your accounting skills in a vibrant and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting related entries to registers, journals, and logs.

• Follow the organization’s established accounting processes.

• Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.

• Support accounts payable activities.

• Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 1-3 years experience in accounting or a related field.

• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
