Job Title: Receiving Inspector

Job Description

As a Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for sorting small LCD displays, inspecting for visual defects on very small components, following provided test instructions, and inserting displays into test fixtures to look for visual indicators.

Responsibilities

• Sort small LCD displays

• Inspect visual defects on very small components

• Follow provided test instructions

• Insert displays into test fixtures and check for visual indicators

Essential Skills

• Drawing

• ERP systems

• In-process inspection

• Use of measuring tools like calipers and micrometers

• Reading prints and drawings

• Computer systems proficiency

• 1+ years of experience is ideal

• Keen eyesight for inspecting micro-components

• Fine manual dexterity for handling tiny, fragile parts

• Attention to detail

• Punctuality and great attendance

• Professional demeanor

• Comfortable with monotonous tasks

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required

Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing floor, built in 2018, features a comfortable dress code of manufacturing casual. The facility includes a break room with multiple microwaves, refrigerators, self-serve kiosks for food, and both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Employees can enjoy multiple TVs on the floor. The work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for the 1st shift, with a start time at 5:00 am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
