Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Carlsbad, California

Description

Our dynamic client in Carlsbad is seeking a Payroll Administrator. The key objective for the Payroll Administrator includes preparing payroll for employees, working on payroll tax filings, maintaining the system, and addressing any payroll-related concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process payroll timely and accurately.

  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.

  • Resolve employees’ concerns regarding payroll issues.

  • Prepare and report payroll taxes.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll requirements.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience as a payroll administrator.

  • Good understanding of the legislation of payroll process and employment tax.

  • Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of payroll software.

  • Attention to detail.
