Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

Job Description

Join our team as a Lead Manufacturing Maintenance Technician and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our automated production equipment and departmental services. Utilize your skills in electrical, controls, and mechanical areas to ensure smooth operations in a world-class manufacturing facility. Hard Skills

  • Associates Degree or certificate in Engineering, Electronics, Packaging, Mechanics, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in electrical, electronics, and controls technologies

  • Troubleshooting automated equipment, electronics, sensors, motors, servos, and pneumatics

  • Experience with automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of equipment design, specifications, fabrication, installation, and validation

  • Strong mechanical skills for equipment maintenance

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools

  • Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, and electrical systems, and industrial automation

  • Knowledge of general construction, repair, and maintenance practices

  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Suite and inventory management software

Soft Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to train and mentor team members

  • Strong leadership and team-driving abilities

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in CARLSBAD, CA.

Work Environment

The role operates in a lab environment requiring hair nets and shoe covers. The facility is large, involving significant walking. The position works first shift from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating Saturday coverage required as overtime.
