Robert Half HR Coordinator - Payroll in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Description

We are seeking a skilled HR Coordinator with strong payroll experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the operations of our department by managing our company's payroll functions. Your duties will involve tasks such as processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and providing support to all employees regarding payroll issues. Your goal will be to ensure our payroll procedures are accurate, efficient and transparent.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the processing of payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Maintain updated records of payroll transactions and employee changes in a systematic manner.

  • Resolve issues related to payroll and provide timely and accurate responses to employees' queries.

  • Work closely with the HR team and other departments in terms of financial reporting and employee data management.

  • Stay informed about payroll regulations, legislations and best practices, ensuring compliance at all times.

  • Assist in performing HR related duties and participate in HR projects when needed.

    Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in payroll processing.

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, and payroll taxes.

  • High level of proficiency in using payroll software (ex: ADP, Ceridian) and MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.

  • Confidentiality and integrity are essential in this position.
