Robert Half Billing Clerk in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join a fast-growing team located in Carlisle, PA. In this role, you will coordinate, compute, manage invoices and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculates costs for goods/services and shipping.

  • Checks and corrects billing data.

  • Creates detailed bills, invoices, and other billing docs.

  • Records due amounts for purchases/services.

  • Performs general bookkeeping tasks.

  • Generates shipping labels and bills.

  • Contacts customers for account info updates.

  • Performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.

  • Must have 1-3 years of experience in a billing or a high-volume transaction environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.

  • High degree of accuracy and efficiency.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
