GF Marketing, Inc is seeking 30 Produce Packers for its two Caribou, Maine locations. The Produce Packer position is temporary and full time. Work begins on October 15, 2024 and ends July 31, 2025. The Produce Packer is responsible for all physical aspects of a produce packing operation. Such duties include: sorting produce by grade, filling, handling and stacking of bags and boxes for shipment. Safe and efficient use of company tools and equipment is an integral part of employee responsibilities. Employer will provide without charge to workers any and all supplies, tools and equipment required to perform the job. Applicant must be capable of handling 50 lbs. packaged units from waist height to shoulder height repetitively. A minimum of 3 months produce packing experience is required. Work experience to include basic skills and/or training in food safety hygiene and work protocols. Applicant must be available for a flexible work schedule and periods of mandatory overtime. Working hours will occur between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 7 days weekly. GF Marketing shall provide transportation to and from the work site at no charge to employee. An average work week is 60 total hours. The rate of compensation is \$16.76 per hour up to 40 hours weekly, after 40 hours weekly overtime pay is \$25.14 per hour. Employees are paid weekly, the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of the total employment period. GF Marketing, Inc. shall provide optional housing accommodations in close proximity to the work site during the work period. The employee cost for housing if accepted, is \$65.00 weekly to be deducted from weekly net paycheck. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half of the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The employer will reimburse workers for all in-bound and out-bound transportation and subsistence cost accrued during in-bound and out-bound travel within seven (7) workdays in the form of a company check, the amount for daily subsistence will be at least \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government.
