Aerotek Process Technician in Carey, Ohio
Process Technician 2nd Shift $18.79 - $26.41hr
Responsibilities:
Oversee the injection mold process and ensure smooth operations
Perform mold repair and troubleshooting on machinery with clamp force ranging from 420 to 1,600 tons
Ensure the proper completion of mold changes and accuracy of initial runs
Manage start-ups, shut-downs, and set-ups of injection molds
Inspect and verify the quality of parts
Monitor cycle times and make necessary adjustments for efficiency
Manage preventive maintenance on molds and create PM schedules
Supervise machine set-ups and tool changes
Collaborate with robots, overseeing touchpoints and editing programs as required
Operate remote-controlled overhead cranes
Handle hydraulic hoses and machine tooling
Document all processes accurately on a computer
Perform preventive maintenance on tooling, including disassembly, reassembly, and cleaning

Work Environment:
Shift: 2nd (2PM - 10PM) Straight 8's, Train on days – 2-3 weeks
Overtime: Little OT when fully staffed, – some Saturdays – most would be 2 a month
