Acloche LLC Cycle Counter in Carey, Ohio
Carey company in need of a Cycle Counter for their Shipping & Receiving Department The cycle counter is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory needs and status to MP&L Department. Primary Responsibilities: ·Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervisor ·Highlight areas of concern associated with inventory problems and communicate facts to supervisor any property loss, damage, destruction of inventory/materials ·Maintains inventory cycle count and schedules ·Conduct regular physical verification to determine the actual quality and account for variances ·Familiar with location of material in order to locate and count inventory in timely manner ·Operate a forklift and possibly work at height ·Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures ·Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner ·Track and report non-conforming product ·Pro-active approach, and follow up on items of concern to minimize adverse outcomes ·Identify, remove and communicate outdated or obsolete materials from active shelves ·Follow and maintain an environmental health and safe work environment conditions by complying with all Integrated Management Systems procedures, standards, and regulations ·Additional duties as may be assigned Years of Experience · Experience with material handling/cycle counting/inventory a plus Degree Preferred: ·High School with Diploma. ·Bachelor degree in field related with production and inventory control and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications : ·Experience using SAP required ·Experience in manufacturing processes, productivity, and scheduling activities ·Microsoft Office ·Strong communication ·Organization skills ·Strong problem solving and analysis skills ·Ability to understand customer demand and how MP&L effects production to meet demand
