Naval Facilities Engineering Command FSC BOS PROGRAM MANAGER in Capodichino, Italy
Summary You will serve as a FSC BOS PROGRAM MANAGER in the Public Works Business Line Core (PWBLC), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia, (EURAFSWA), Capodichino, Italy. The primary purpose of this position is to provide project management, technical expertise and consultation for the orderly transition of large and complex Facility Support Contract/Base Operations Support to numerous installations within NAVC EURAFSWA's geographic area of responsibility. Responsibilities You will implement a Business Management System (BMS) (e.g., corrective action processes, audits, management reviews) to achieve organizational goals and objectives within the context of corporate business plans. You will oversee continuous process improvement projects to ensure successful execution and implementation. You will develop acquisition strategies and acquisition plans to achieve program objectives within resource constraints and established time frames. You will write workload or resource reports to recommend changes in business planning. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Appraising the utilization of fiscal resources necessary for accomplishing program goals and objectives. 2) Ensuring technical assistance is available when public works department and supported commands require such assistance 3) Managing resolution of complaints and/or problems during Base Operation Support (BOS) contract. 4) Providing high-level program technical and resource management oversight to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the Facility Support Contract/Base Operation Support process. 5) Developing guidance for funding and fiscal planning for the Facility Support Contract/Base Operations Support transition program. Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth daily.
