Texas Meter & Device Co LLC AMI Field Technician in Cape Girardeau, Missouri
SMART METER FIELD TECHNCIAN - Cape Girardeau, MO - and surrounding areas
Wages: $25/hr to $30/hr Average and UNCAPPED after training
Various Incentives
Training: Paid Training provided at $20/hr
Hours: Generally, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, overtime when required
Requirements:
Reside in the Cape Girardeau metro area
Highly preferred that candidates are able to travel to other Missouri locations (expenses paid by company), M-F for up to several weeks as needed.
Be 21 years of age (BFOQ due to insurance requirements)
Pass a drug test (including cannabis) and background check
Have a good driving record, valid drivers license and 3 years of driving experience

We are currently conducting interviews M-F from 8am - 10am each day at our location at 211 N. Spring Ave, Cape Girardeau
Job Responsibilities:
Successfully complete shop and field training
Competently and consistently complete assigned field exchanges of electric, water and/or gas Meters or Modules
Follow established processes, procedures and safety requirements exactly
Safely drive and operate a service truck
Courteous Interaction with customers
Precise entry of field data and work order completion on handheld
Meet minimum production standards
Show up to work on time every day
Strong preference will be given to applicants with established field experience, good mechanical aptitude and electrical experience.
