CACI, Inc. is accepting applications for a Payload Processing Integration Specialist to support a contract for National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) activities.

More About the Role

The Payload Processing Integration Specialist (PPIS) provides payload processing integration support to the mission team in all phases of planning and execution of satellite-to-payload processing systems integration for assigned missions. The PPIS provides the payload processing mission integration planning coordination/support, integrated schedule development, readiness review preparation, technical procedure coordination, anomaly resolution, integration of mission requirements into government or commercial infrastructure, mission/DOL support and Lessons Learned adjudication. Payload Processing Integration support responsibilities include the development of mission unique requirements and derived requirements identification, monitoring and verifying payload processing requirements including satellite vehicle transportation and processing requirements. Support requires an understanding of payload processing planning and execution. Requires close coordination with the SV Program, LVC, OL, Range and other associated contractors and organizations. Payload Processing Integration tasks may include:

  • Supports Mission Management interface with internal and external divisions, agencies and contractors

  • Generates reports and presentations for internal and external reviews

  • Supports coordination process for planning and readiness meetings

  • Provides Payload Processing Integration expertise for pre-mission planning, quality assurance and business management meetings/reviews

  • Standardizes payload processing readiness activities where possible Monitors system issues and provides assessments to the OSL stakeholders

  • Provides support to mission managers for payload processing activities

  • Reconciles payload processing requirements against mission execution plans

  • Supports the collaboration efforts with external agencies to assure common understanding and sharing of resources for payload processing activities

  • Fosters collaboration with external mission partners and organizations

  • Attends Mission Scheduling/Manifest Meetings as required

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Typically has a University Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline or equivalent experience

  • 5 years related work experience

  • Interfacing with active-duty military and civil service personnel

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must have a US Government TS/SCI CI Poly Security Clearance

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
