We are currently seeking to fill a contract-to-permanent position for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Canton, Ohio. This role, situated within the construction industry, will be based in an office environment. The main responsibilities for this position will include efficient management of customer credit applications, maintaining detailed records, amongst other tasks. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess customer's creditworthiness and ensure compliance with their credit limits.

• Relieve credit holds as appropriate. • Accurately reconcile and manage cash applications and cash drawers.

• Regularly process and update customer receipts.

• Promptly bill the necessary tickets.

• Organize and reconcile petty cash and conduct bank deposits when required.

• Accurately post lock box transactions.

• Regularly process credit memos and maintain a balance in accounts receivable.

• Efficiently perform timecards calculations for payroll.

• Execute various tasks utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Must be skilled in Billing procedures and practices

• Familiarity with Cash Applications is expected

• Competence in Cash Collections is essential

• Knowledge of Commercial Collections is a must

• Microsoft Excel skills are required

• Proficiency in using Oracle is necessary

• Familiarity with QuickBooks is expected

• Experience with SAP is a significant advantage
