Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in the industrial cleaning industry based in Canton, Ohio. This role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounts payable and receivable

• Manage payroll operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and procedures

• Prepare and submit monthly-end, year-end reports and filings

• Oversee deposit checks, maintain cash receipts and bank deposits, treasury

• Prepare general ledger entries including month-end accruals journal entries

• Work closely with the sales team on budgeting and forecasting

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations

• Utilize auditing and QuickBooks skills for managing, reporting and auditing

• Execute month-end close procedures and bookkeeping

• Monitor and evaluate the overall performance of the finance department. Requirements

• Proficiency in Budget Processes, including developing, implementing, and reviewing budgets

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software for managing financial transactions

• Experience with Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and accounted for

• Strong Bookkeeping skills, including maintaining financial records and preparing reports

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
