Honeywell Sr Building Automation Technician (Boston Service Area) in Canton, Massachusetts
As a Building Automation Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of building automation systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems to optimize building performance and occupant comfort. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our customers' facilities. You will report directly to our Technical Operations Manager, and you'll work out of our Canton, MA location serving customers throughout Massachusetts and occasionally throughout New England.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the energy efficiency, sustainability, and overall functionality of our customers' buildings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify and implement system improvements
Provide training and support to building operators and end-users
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $81,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 2 years of experience in building automation or related field
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building automation systems
Familiarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., BACnet, LonWorks)
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
